Beschreibung

In this course we demonstrate how kimchi or sauerkraut can easily be made at home. What is lacto-fermentation? How does the body benefit from it? What vegetables are suitable? What tools are needed? ... and of course what can go wrong and how to best avoid spoilages. Fermentation is an ancient cultural technique passed down from generation to generation. While you can read many books or watch videos about fermenting... smelling, tasting, and seeing are important aspects of tradition. That's exactly what we aim to show you. In our workshop, we'll get hands-on and ferment whatever the market offers. Along the way, we'll cover the basics of fermentation, taste ferments, and hopefully answer all questions.
